Here, length of the string $l=40\,cm$ Time period      $T=\frac{20}{10}\,2\,\sec$ and angular velocity             $\omega =\frac{2\pi }{T}=\frac{3\times 3.14}{2}=3.14$ Hence the magnitude of acceleration is             $\alpha ={{\omega }^{2}}\times l={{(3.14)}^{2}}\times 40$                 $=394\,cm/{{s}^{2}}$
