    Solution :

[d] PIO is restricted to people from Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal, while OCI is restricted only to people from Pakistan and Bangladesh. OCI get a lifelong, multiple entry visa to travel to India, while PIO are allowed to visit India visa free. PIO require to ordinarily reside in India for 7 years before applying for an Indian citizenship, while OCI require only 5 years. Both PIO and OCI are restricted from acquiring agricultural property in India. While the OCI scheme has been provided for through the Citizenship Act the PIO scheme is from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
