    [b] The Battle of Chandwar (1193 or 1194) was between Muhammad Ghori and Jaichand of Kannauj of Gaharwar dynasty. The battle was fought at Chandwar (modern Firozabad), on the Jamuna River close to Agra. Here Jaichand was defeated and this gave Muhammad control of much of northern India.
