    Solution :

    \[f(x)=x-|x-{{x}^{2}}|\] \[=x-|x||1-x|\] we know that x,|x|,|1-x| are continuous everywhere. As the product and algebraic sum of continuous functions are continuous, therefore f(x) is continuous. Hence, option [c] is correct.
