    Solution :

     Let\[{{r}_{1}},{{r}_{2}}\] be the roots. From given condition, \[r-1=\frac{1}{r}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[{{r}^{2}}-2r-1=0\] \[\therefore \]  \[b=-2,c=-1\] \[\therefore \]  \[{{b}^{2}}+{{c}^{2}}=5.\]
