[b] If a Bill has been taken up or passed by the Lok Sabha then it will lapse on the dissolution of Lok Sabha. In both Statements 1 and 3, the Bill has been either passed or taken up by the Lok Sabha and so it will lapse. Similarly Statement 4, the Bill being passed by the Lok Sabha amendments will also lapse. The case in Statement 2 considered as a sort of special case.
