    Statement 2 is also incorrect because High Court as well as Supreme Court both can issue writs of jurisdiction.        
    Statement 3 is also incorrect Supreme Court has original jurisdiction in the sense that an aggrieved citizen can directly go the  Supreme Court, not necessarily by way of appeal.
