Mercury found in batteries and circuit boards and attack the nervous system, endocrine, system and harm unborn foetus. Antimony used in production of diodes and batteries and as toxic as arsenic. Cadmium is used in soldering semi-conductors and chip resistors that damage lung kidneys and liver. Though silicon is found in e-waste, but is not a potential toxic and plutonium is not found that is radioactive in nature.
