Answer:

(a) The king was advised to go to the magicians because only they could look into the future and foretell what was going to happen and what could be done to prevent it.

(b) The music teachers was a bony figure and almost bald-headed with a. fringe of oiled black hair falling around his cars as an old fashioned tuft. He was wearing a gold chain and diamond ring; kept beating with his scrawny bid toe.

(c) Maya thought Mr Nath looked like a crook, he had millions of rupees tucked away, who ate and drank a lot and was scared of the cops/ so he used to be inside his room- all the day. He had a lot of money hidden in his trunk.

(d) Discovery of fire has helped the early man to cope with nature. It also helped him to adopt to a settled mode of life.

(e) Apart from paying attention to the rest of the cycle, the chain of the cycle was tightened so much that the movement stopped, when it was loosened by the man it became extra loose, without completing the whole work, it was left out in the middle as other parts of the bicycle needed attended.

(f) The rebels do not conform to the standard decisions and choices made by the society at large. They have their own opinions, queue thinking, are different and at times even go to the extent of contradicting others merely to highlight themselves as unique.
