Answer:

There was a storm brewing outside and I was alone at home. However, I was not scared, as this was not the first time I had been alone. Soon the storm became more and more furious. There were loud claps of thunder and bright flashes of lighting, and soon the rain started pouring. And then the lights went out. I was quite scared. I started going towards the study table, where I knew a torch was kept. Suddenly my hands touched something soft. What was it? I screamed out in horror. I was relieved to see that what I had touched was just the neighbour's cat Tabby. Just then the light came on, and in that light how silly my fears seemed. I decided not to tell anyone about this incident as I know they would all laugh at me.
