Desert

The desert is a vast expanse of sand with no water and very little vegetation. The temperature is usually very high during the day. On the contrary, nights are very cold. Water is difficult to find except in an 'Oasis'. Oasis is a small village where there are a few date palm trees and a few houses. People travel from one place to another on camels as this is the chief source of transport. The camel is therefore, also called 'The Ship of the Desert'. Life in a desert is very difficult. The government is taking measures to make it easy.

Health is Wealth

A person who has good health is the happiest one. Without health there is no happiness, no peace and no success. It is the greatest wealth in the world. Health is more valuable then money. Money cannot buy health and happiness. He cannot laugh heartily. He cannot eat the food he likes. He always feels tired and often gets irritated. But a healthy person takes interest in life. He is energetic throughout the day. His physical appearance is attractive as he bears a glow on his face. A healthy person will always have a positive outlook towards life. A healthy person can work hard and thus, make his destiny. Truly, health is wealth. We should follow healthy lifestyle. We should eat healthy food and do physical exercises to maintain the priceless treasure of good health.

My Mother

My mother is my most favourite person for me in the world. I love her the most. In fact, she loves me more than I do. From the early morning she starts taking care of the family. She sacrifices her comfort to look after me and my father. Not only does she take care of my basic needs of food and clothing, she helps me in my scholastic lessons. She is very sweet. She has enviable good looks and a great personality. When I fall sick, she feels the pain. When I am happy, is the the source of her happiness. My other is a goddess on the Earth. May she have a long and happy life! She guides me if I go wrong.

I am very fond of my mother.
