    Answer any four of the following questions:                                                                              
    (i) How did the Rishi explain the different way in which the birds behaved?
    (ii) Why did the other Governors grow jealous of the shepherd?
    (iii) "The watch was nothing special and yet had great powers". In what sense did it have great powers?
    (iv) Why was the crocodile's wife annoyed with her husband one day?
    (v) What did Saeeda tell the sun rays to do?

    Answer:

    (i) The Rishi said, "One is known by the company one keeps. That bird has always heard the talk of robbers. This one has repeated what he has always heard. He welcomes people to the Ashram."
    (ii) Other Governors grew jealous of the shepherd because he very soon became the favourite of the king due to his honesty and sincerity.
    (iii) It was an ordinary watch, but it was very powerful because it could relieve man from his poor condition. He got fifty dollars. Perhaps he wanted this money for celebrating Christmas.
    (iv) The crocodile's wife was annoyed with her husband because he stayed longer with monkey than usual.
    (v) Saeeda told the Sun to come with more warmth and brightness because her mother was sick and she needed his help.
