    Answer any four of the following questions:                                                                            
    (i) What did the second bird say to him?
    (ii) Who visited the shepherd one day and why?
    (iii) Ray was not a pawn broker. Why then did he lend money to people in exchange for their old watches and clocks?
    (iv) Why was the crocodile unwilling to invite his friend home?
    (v) What did the specialist prescribe in addition to medicines?

    Answer:

    (i) The second bird said politely, "Welcome to the Ashram. Sir, please go inside and rest. The Rishi will be back soon. There is some water in the pot. Please make yourself comfortable."
    (ii) The king of the country visited shepherd one day. He was very keen to visit him because he had heard a lot about his wisdom.
    (iii) It is true that Ray was not a pawn broker but he was full of humanity. He could not say 'no' to anyone in need who placed their old watches before him.
    (iv) The crocodile was unwilling to invite his friend because his wife wanted to kill him in order to eat his heart.
    (v) The specialist advised her to eat anything that she liked-milk, fruits, vegetables for good nutrition and above all to sit in the sun for an hour and get lots of fresh air.
