Answer:
(a) Denaturation
of protein : When the temperature and pH of a protein is changed the hydrogen
bonds in it get disturbed and protein losses its biological
activity. It is called denaturation of protein. 1
The 2°
and 3° structures are destroyed but 1° structure remain intact.
e.g., coagulation of egg while on
boiling.
(b) Primary structure of protein:
(1) Proteins may have one or more peptide
chains. 
(2) Each polypeptide in a protein has amino acids linked
with the other in a specific sequence.
(3) This specific sequence of amino acids is called the
primary structure of protein.
