(i) Gradual increase in the average temperature of the surface of earth, is called global warming.

Various causes of global warming are as follows

(a) High level of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

(b) High rate of consumption of fossil fuel.

(ii) Kalpana was curious to know about her environment. She also wants to spread awareness among the people. She has shown the values of a responsible citizen.
