Once upon a time in India, there was a town called 'Boring'. The children of "Boring" never smiled; they did not know how to smile. All the children ever did was study. They studied in school all day. On returning home they got busy with homework and with revision for class tests in school. No one played any games ? there were no playgrounds in the town. One day the town had a visitor, who was shocked to see all this. The visitor decided to use his secret weapon! Next day morning, when the children were going to school, the visitor came up from behind and tick- led all the children on the street very hard. Without their knowing, the children started squalling and giggling. |
"Ah, so you can giggle like other children/' said the visitor. When the children laughed they felt very happy. And the town no longer remained boring .Hence, the people of the town named the visitor as the 'God of Laughter'. |
