But it has still not been able to come into force because it the not been ratified by the required minimum number of nations. CTBT requires ratification by 44 nations before it can come to force. Recently, Indonesia has ratified it and now 8 more ratifications are left. India along with US, North Korea. China, Egypt, Iran, Israel and Pakistan has not ratified it.
