    Correct Answer: D

    Solution :

    \[8{{\sec }^{2}}\theta -6\sec \theta +1=0\]Þ \[\sec \theta =\frac{1}{2}\] or  \[\sec \theta =\frac{1}{4}\] , but \[\sec \theta \ge 1\ \text{or}\ \sec \theta \le -1\]. Hence the given equation has no solution.
