    How did the common people react to Nazism?

    Answer:

     (a) Many were ardent supponers of the Nazi's. They were against the Jews, willingly marked the houses of Jews and reponed suspicious neighbors. (b) These people genuinely believed Nazism would bring prosperity and improve the living standards of the people. (c) But not every German was a Nazi. Many organised active resistance to Nazism and braved police repression and death. (d) The majority of Germans were however passive onlookers and were too scared to protest.
