    Solution :

    (a): Area of \[||gm\,\,=DL\times AB=156\Rightarrow DL=\frac{156}{13}=12\]Since \[DL=12\]  \[\therefore \] In right \[\Delta le\] ALD, \[AL=\sqrt{A{{D}^{2}}-D{{L}^{2}}}-\sqrt{{{13}^{2}}-{{12}^{2}}}=5\]
