Buland Darwaza was built by the Akbar in 1,601 A.D. at Fatehpur | Sikri. The Alai-Darwaza was, built by Allaudin Khiiji by enlarging the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque's enclosures of colonnades and providing them two gateways. The Purana Qila and the Quila Kohna Masjid inside, are also ascribed to Sher Shah Suri. Jama Masjid at Agra and Delhi, were built by Shah Jahan.
