    Ans.    Farming is the main production activity in rural India with over 75% of its working population dependent on farming for their livelihood. But it is virtually impossible to increase farm production by bringing new land under cultivation since amble land is fixed. However farm production can be increased by various farming methods. Different crops can be grown during different parts of the year, e.g., the farmers of the farmers of Palanpur all the land in the village.
