    (i) Conventional sources of energy are the traditional source of energy generated from wood, cattle dung, coal, petroleum e.t.c., (i) Non-conventional sources of energy are the recently developed sources from sun, wind, water, trides, geothermal etc.
    (ii) It is non renewable. (ii) It is renewable.
    (iii) It causes larges cale pollution. (iii) It is ecofriendly source of energy.
    (iv) Generation of electricity is expensive (iv) Initial cost of generation of expensive but cheaper in the long run.
    (v) Technology is available for utilisation of this energy. Hence they are the present energy resources. (v) They call for modern technology which is yet to be developed and hence they are future energy resources.
