    Solution :

    (a): \[\therefore \]\[1\parallel m\parallel n\] \[\therefore \]\[\frac{AM}{MK}=\frac{AN}{NL}\] \[\therefore \]\[\frac{AM}{32}=\frac{6}{24}\Rightarrow AM=\frac{6\times 32}{24}=8\]cm
