Why it is difficult to climb up a greesy pole?

Answer:

                When a person climbs up a pole, he presses the pole downward with his feet and the pole, in turn, pushes the person upwards with an equal force. If the pole  is greasy, its surface becomes slippery and the person is not able to press it. As there is no action, there will be no reaction. Hence it becomes difficult for the person to climb up.
