    (a) Of the 10 questions in the test, 3 are correct and 6 are incorrect, 2 are not attempted. SO, the total score \[=3\times \left( +3 \right)+6\times \left( -1 \right)+1\text{ }\times \left( 0 \right)\] \[=9-6+0=+3\]
