    Directions: Read the passage given below to answer the questions. Gangubai is very good in washing and cleaning. Everybody calls her to clean their floors and wash clothes and utensils. She does not work on Tuesday and Saturday as she keeps a fast for total 2 hours on these two days together. She works for 50 hours in a week. She gives 2 hours to every house in a day. Gangubai has a problem with her memory. She forgets the number of hours she has worked in which house. How many hours she works per day?

    A)  15hrs.            

    B)           10 hrs.

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

         Number of days she works in a week = 7 - 2 = 5 as she does not work on Tuesday & Saturday. Number of house she work in a week= 50 hrs. Thus, number of hours she work in a day = 50 \[\div \] 5 = 5 groups of 10 hrs. Therefore, the answer is option (b) 10 hrs.
