    Solution :

    (d) Let interest rate be r. Interest (Mayur) \[=\frac{2250\times r\times 3}{100};\] Interest (Vishal) \[=\frac{2500\times r\times 3}{100}\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[\frac{3r}{100}\left( 2500-2250 \right)=45\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[r=\frac{4500}{3\times \left( 250 \right)}=6\]
