    (c) Let population be P, then \[\frac{40}{100}\times P=\] men; \[\frac{35}{100}\times P=\] women \[\therefore \] Children: Total - men - women \[=P-0.4\,\,P-0.35\,\,P=0.25\,P\] Now,\[0.25\,\,P=20000\] \[\therefore \]\[P=\frac{20000}{0.25}\] \[\therefore \] Women \[=0.35\,\,P=\frac{20000}{0.25}\times 0.35=\frac{20000}{\underset{5}{\mathop{\cancel{25}}}\,}\times \overset{7}{\mathop{\cancel{35}}}\,\] \[=4000\times 7=28000\]
