    (b) Let number of boys be 'x' then, \[40%\Rightarrow \frac{40}{100}\times x=\frac{2}{5}x\] ordered thali remaining boys\[=x-\frac{2}{5}x=\frac{3}{5}x\] \[\therefore \]\[\frac{3}{5}x=6\] (boys who ordered snacks) \[\therefore \]\[x=\frac{6\times 5}{3}=10\]
