    Solution :

     Let cost of adult ticket\[=\text{Rs}.x\] \[\therefore \]Cost of child's ticket\[=\text{Rs}.\frac{x}{3}\] By hypothesis \[4\times x+5\times \frac{x}{3}=85\] or            \[17x=255\] or                \[x=15\] Hence, cost of child's ticket\[=\frac{x}{3}=\frac{15}{3}=\text{Rs}.5\]
