Polymers are always macromolecules but macromolecules are not always polymers. Explain.

    Answer:

In polymers, monomers which participate may be either same (homo polymers) or different (co-polymers). These are all macromolecules in nature. Biopolymers such as starch, proteins and nucleic acids are also macromolecules. But some macromolecules like chlorophyll, haemoglobins etc. do not have any monomer units and are not polymers.
