Mention the importance of writing the physical quantities as vectors.

    Answer:

                    The magnitude of resultant \[\vec{R}\]of two vectors \[\vec{A}\]and \[\vec{B}\] is given by\[\text{R}=\sqrt{{{A}^{2}}+{{B}^{2}}+2AB\cos \theta }\]; where \[\text{A}=\text{3m}\]and\[\text{B}=\text{4m}\]. Now\[\text{R }=\sqrt{{{3}^{2}}+{{4}^{2}}+2\times 3\times 4\cos \theta }\]. R will be 7 m if \[\theta =0{}^\circ \] (ii) R will be 1 metre if \[\theta =\text{18}0{}^\circ \] and (iii) R will be 5 m if\[\theta =\text{9}0{}^\circ \].
