When can an object be considered as a point object? Explain in brief.

    Answer:

An object can be considered a point object if, during motion in a given time it covers a distance much greater than its own size. For example, if a car of size 3 metres is moving a few hundred kilometre distance, then to study this motion, the car can be taken as a point object, since 3 m is very much less than few hundred kilometre distance.
