                         Mention  any  two  human activities which are responsible for the process of soil erosion. Explain the two types of soil erosion mostly observed in India?               

Answer:

                Deforestation,    mining    activities, excessive use of fertiliser, etc are various major causes for soil erosion. Gully erosion and sheet erosion are two types of erosion seen in India. Gullies cut the clayey soils into deep creeps and the land become unfit for cultivation and popularly known as bad lands. Sheet erosions washes away top soils over a large areas and productivity is mostly decreased.
