(ii) He clashed with Mahatma Gandhi at the Second Round Table Conference by
demanding separate electorates for the dalits.
(iii) Dalits began organising themselves, demanding
reserved seats in educational institutions and a separate electorate which they
could get only when they were politically empowered and for that Dr. Ambedkar fully
supported them.
