Understanding through Definitions and Examples

In this lesson, we will try to identify the things through their definitions and. Some examples:

•                    An electronic device to see films, serials, etc is called a television.

•                  A device which tells the time is called a watch.

Some more definitions and examples describing some important things are given as follows:

1.            It is used to cook food and is available in a cylinder.                                   L. P. G.

2.            It is used to clean our body while taking a bath.                                            Soap

3.            A type of cloth we wear in winter.                                                                        Sweater

4.            A drink which is a health builder and is obtained from the cow.         Milk

5.            All the garbage and the dirt is collected in it.                                                  Dustbin

6.            It keeps a record of every day and every month of a year.                     Calendar

7.            One can see one's own image in it.                                                                      Mirror

8.            It is used to carry the lunch.                                                                                    Lunch box
