An advertisement is a public notice or an announcement asking for or offering services, on sale property, household goods, vehicles etc. They are also used for giving information about missing persons, pets, goods etc. An advertisement is a very important tool for promotion of sales and services.

Classified advertisements are published in newspapers and magazines for the purpose of advertising. The objective of such advertisements is to convey more information. They are charged per word, column or line or according to the space they occupy so, they are brief.
