The pointer stopping on D has only 1 outcome \[\therefore \] Probability of the pointer stopping on \[D=\frac{1}{5}\] (b) Probability of getting an ace from a well shuffled deck of 52 playing cards \[=\frac{4}{52}\,=\frac{1}{13}\] | \[\because \] There are in all 52 cards out of which 4 are aces (c) Probability of getting a red apple \[=\frac{4}{7}\] | \[\because \] There are in all 7 apples out of which 4 are red.
