     What is plantation agriculture?  

    Answer:

     Plantation agriculture is practiced on large scale for specialized crops like tea, rubber, coffee etc. large and small farms are arranged for production of these crops. The produce of these plantations is processed for sale in international, national and local markets. Tea plantation in Assam, Sri Lanka, rubber plantation in Malaysia and coffee fields in Brazil are the main examples of plantation agriculture.
