Buddha tried to spread his message to the people in the following ways: (i) His teachings were very simple.   (ii) He delivered his message in local languages i.e., Parkrit.   (iii) He himself set an example to live a simple life.   (iv) He spent his life in travelling on foot, going from one place to another, teaching people.
