    (e) Evergreen and deciduous forests:
    Evergreen Forests  Deciduous Forests 
    (i) The trees are tall  (ii) There is no particular season when these trees shed their leaves  (iii) Many kinds of trees are found together. (i) The trees are of medium height.   (ii) Trees shed their leaves once in a year.  (iii) Trees of the same family are found together in an area. 
    (f) The tropical rainforests do not shed their leaves at a particular time of the year. So, they always appear green hence they are also called evergreen forests.
