(b) Proteins and minerals are needed for growth and maintenance of our body. Proteins are body building food items such as pulses and eggs. Milk, banana, spinach, etc are sources of minerals. (c) Vitamin A is required for maintaining good eyesight. It is present in food items such as carrot, milk, fish, etc. (d) Calcium is a mineral that is required for keeping our bones healthy. It is present in food items such as milk and cheese.
