Suppose x has a binomial distribution . Show that x = 3 is the most likely outcome.

    Answer:

    X has a binomial distribution with n = 6,                                                 P(x = 4) = 6C4                             Since P(x = 3)  is the highest probability among all P(xi), xi = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.       Therefore x = 3 is the most likely outcome.
