    For x < 0, f(x) is a polynomial function and is continuous, for x > 0, f(x) is a constant function and is continuous.       At x = 0                               Also, f(0) = 0       Since LHL = RHL = f(0).       Therefore f is continuous at x = 0       Now for x < 1, f(x) is a constant function and is continuous, for x < 1, f(x) is a polynomial function and is continuous.       At x =1                                    = 0                                is discontinuous at x =1.
