(i) Providing a balanced feed containing good amounts of both roughage and concentrate. (ii) Providing a good shelter to the animals to keep them disease free. A good shelter will be clean, dry, air, well ventilated for proper sunlight, spacious and protected from the extremes of temperature. (iii) Arrangement for hygienic disposal of animal wastes. (iv) Providing clean drinking water for the animals. A good dairy farm not only increases the milk production but also improves the health of farm animals.
