Ladybird is the very familiar beetle with red and black markings, used to get rid of Aphids. Fungi form symbiotic association, with the roots of higher plants called mycorrhiza, e.g., Glomus. A biological control being developed for use in the treatment of plant disease is the fungus Trichoderma. Methanogens,Particularly Methano bacterium, are found in cow dung. These bacteria grow anaerobically on cellulosic material and produce large amount of methane along with CO2 and H2.
