CET seat allotment from Thursday

MYSORE: Online seat allotment for CET rank holders will start at the help center at Mysore Medical College from Thursday.
Karnataka Examination Authority will be conducting the online seat allotment from Mysore, Mandya, Kodagu and Chamarajanagara districts between July 12 and July 18. Students should come and opt for their choice of courses and colleges, Shyamala, nodal officer, told reporters on Tuesday.
Two nodal officers, technicians and an assistant will help the students. "If any rural student finds difficulty in the process, they can come here and take our help. The students should check their ranking and category before opting for a college," she said.
A CD which gives information about the process of selecting courses has been provided to the students who are done with the document verification.
Eligible students should enter their unique key number on the website and select the college and course of their choice, Shyamala said.
In the first phase, document registration and verification was done between June 25 and July 10. In the final phase, selected candidates will join colleges by remitting fee, starting from July 25.
