THE INFLUENCE OF NATURE

Nature is the most beautiful gift given to man by God. Man is creative. He tries to create art in accordance with the rules of nature. In the words of Victor Hugo, 'Nature like a kind and smiling mother, lends herself to our dreams and cherishes our fancies/It is true that day dreams, imaginations and fantasies are governed by nature.

Through the ages nature has attracted man's attention towards its various features. She has a perfect combination of unlimited artistic forms. This has influenced man to create literature in volumes on the diversified forms of nature.

Poets and writers have sung in her praise, criticized her furies and admired her manifold scenic beauties. Even today nature is an important subject of admiration and criticism. Artists are always eager to capture the changing faces of nature in their work. In fact, all creativities are inspired by nature.

Man is the most influential creature. Every aspect of nature influences the susceptible human mood. Every message conveyed by varying forms of natures presentations are grasped and absorbed by the human mind.

William Wordsworth was right in saying 'Nature never did betray the heart that loved her'. She makes man feel what he wants to. The influence of nature on emotions cannot be denied. Happiness, fear, gloom, isolation, romanticism, dejection and many more feelings owe their occurrence to nature.

Man has always been curious. It is very strange that nature holds much more than what human mind can expect. Man's curiosity knows no bounds when nature invites him to unfold the Hidden mysteries.

Every new discovery influences man to go in search of more. Nature inculcates the desire to know and to learn. Man follows his will to discover.

Nature has always influenced man and still does so. Man accepts to be ruled by her laws. But in many spheres man is trying to overpower her forces and tame her to suit his interest and satisfaction.

Whatever the situation may be, it must be accepted that nature can exist without man but man’s survival without her is next to impossible nature shall remain stronger of the two and continue to make mango her way.
