Attitudes make a man what he is and also what heachieves in his life. One can be a born pessimist or an Optimist, but with careful discipline of the mind, onecan achieve a balance that makes life worth living.

Life is never free from problems and failures. At timesof misfortune, it’s only one's positive attitude that sees One through hard times. If our ill luck could be changedby adopting a pessimistic attitude, there would be some sense in having such an attitude.

If, however, one can continue to look at the brighterwide of life, the worst times pass and soon we find that

We are on our feet again. If we grumble and complain, the problem seems to become even larger than it

Actually is.

There is a story about a man who was born into a veryrich family. He inherited a lot of wealth from his father.as time went by he lost almost all his money in abusiness that failed.

This family was greatly in debt and often they could not dream of buying the things which they were used to taking for granted in the good days. However theonly treasure left with the man was his optimism. He was determined to carry on with the hard work thathe had always done.

Deep in his heart he had a vision and he was convincedabout his own capability. Soon his business began to flourish and within a year he was able to restore thelost glory. There was not a day that went by without the man telling himself that he would succeed one day.

This story goes a long way to prove that one mustalways keep one's chin up and continue to journey Through life with the right attitude.

Had this man been someone with a negative attitude, he would have carried his family to even more misery than they had already been through. His loss wouldhave become larger than him and it could have led him towards penury.

We should always remember that our destiny is in ourown hands. If our attitude is to remain happy we will Find ourselves rejoining and celebrating every momentof our life.
